Weather

Obviously, the primary reason that Brits choose Spain as a holiday destination is the weather.  It is easy to see that if you want an unforgettable holiday, you need nice weather.  Even if you go to Spain in the winter, you will find it is much warmer than Britain.

Atmosphere

Spain is famous for having a very laidback atmosphere and vibe.  It is true that there are many exciting things to see and do like go to waterparks or visit historically significant buildings.  However, you can have just as memorable a holiday by sitting around under the warm sun and enjoying a few beers.

Inexpensive

Another reason so many people fly to Spain to get away from their busy day to day lives is the affordability.  For the excellent weather, atmosphere and gorgeous beaches, it does not cost as much money compared with other holiday destinations.  Finding somewhere affordable like Spain, can allow you to concern yourself less with the finances and just enjoy your holiday.

Food and Drink

In line with the affordability of Spain, the food and drink are one of the main points of interest for holidays to Spain.  Although you can be happy tucking into fish and chips and full English breakfasts at one of the many “English style” pubs.  There are a lot of great native dishes that you can try for less than they cost back home.  Tapas is an excellent introduction to the flavours and cooking style associated with Spanish cuisine and the more you try, the more authentic and memorable your experience holidaying in Spain be will be.

Gorgeous Beaches

Unless you are flying inland, you will never be too far away from beautiful sandy beaches.  Whether you are travelling to somewhere along the coast or one of the Spanish islands, there is something for everyone.   For a truly unforgettable holiday in Spain though, we would recommend you visit Costa Dorada, for the ancient monuments and nature reserves; while the Costa Brava is worth visiting for its extraordinary beauty.  Moreover, Costa Blanca and Costa del Sol are famous for being unusually warm even during winter time.

Home Away From Home

Due to the high number of ex-patriots living, working or holidaying in Spain nowadays, it is a great place to go on an unforgettable holiday abroad while still having familiar things close to hand.  You will always find locals who can speak English, and when all you’ve had too much Spanish food, you can always have a steak and ale pie at the pub and chat with other Brits.
